Frederick's of Hollywood
I've always been quite fascinated by the delicious vintage adverts of Frederick's of Hollywood when i bumped into them. For a transvestite with a touch of the dragqueen like myself they are an absolute delight. Make me feel like a kid in a candyshop( a bit of a kinky kid of course). Just wanted to share a few of my favourites to convince a few of you to come over to the Dark side(lol)..........

Retro and delightful. I was also fascinated by the period fashions on the TV show MADMEN. One of the actresses spoke about how wearing them changed the way she stood, moved and so on.

ReplyDeleteI got so into this post that last night, for the first time in ages i got completely dressed up in my finest evening gear and my best wig. Partly because of physical problems and not liking my own ageing i hadn't done that in ages.Alas not ready for going out and stuff as i'm still recovering from a stroke earlier this year but the feeling was definitely there.(still stumbling around in heels)
